This Nordic Island created in Minecraft reminds me very strongly of the lands of Skyrim. It’s a simple and relatively small island map, which comes down in creative mode, but it would only be the work of a minute to /gamemode survival playername and turn it into a survival island experience. The island sits on a self contained ocean sphere, so there’s a certain isolationist feel to the experience.
A command block enabled, Minecraft 1.6 survival map, Sea Block survival is exactly what you think it will be. There is a lot of sea, and not a lot of block. The block is up to you to create, you see. In addition to the lack of block, there are plenty of structures to explore. Some of them contain treasures. Some of them contain pain. Some of them contain the answer of the question who shot first.
Life Underground is a minecraft survival map that begins underground and ends underground – unless of course you break the rules and run around in the skyline for a bit. The map is suitable for up to three players, though like all minecraft maps it is probably best played in solitude. (more…)
Yo ho ho! Boombeard’s Battle Map awaits all hearty foes wishing to unleash their worst on one another. This 320 square block survival games arena will provide plenty of trips, traps, surprises and places from which to battle your fellow mutineers.
After being forced to walk the plank from your airship, you’ll find yourself on Boombeard’s survival atol. Dominating the center of the main island is a towering volcano. Stranded Island is a new minecraft survival island map. I was impressed with the simplicity and dirt enhanced-ness of this map, which is but a mound of dirt in a wide sea. Mound might not be the right word. ‘Raft’ is better. There is very little to work with on this map. One can dive into the ocean, but there seems to be no hope of reaching the bottom.
