Ruins of the Mindcrackers is a minecraft CTM map download based on the Mindcrackers SMP server. It contains plenty of inside jokes for people who like to have ‘friends’ and ‘play with others’, but it also contains plenty of wonderful builds to explore for people who prefer to be ‘alone’ and ‘play solo’. In many respects, this is a minecraft server map for people who don’t like minecraft multiplayer, because having to deal with other people sort of ruins their day.

If you’re looking for large modern minecraft city map download, then you have to download Greenfield – a city under constant expansion. From towering skyscrapers to subterranean subway tunnels, Greenfield is the minecraft city of the future (and present, so you can play it today.) This minecraft map has something of a Mirror’s Edge feel to it. But this is not another Minecraft map based on a video game – no, it is something more exciting than that, it is a minecraft map that seems to replicate not a game world, but the real world. As a result, Greenfield feels like a real city.

A cross between SkyBlock and Sky Island, Skyverse is somewhere in between. It has more dirt than SkyBlock, but not as many resources as Sky Island. So it is simultaneously harder, easier and more fun than either of the two maps mentioned in the first instance. In Skyverse, a small plug shaped island of land floats in the middle of the void. Although this is currently a single player survival map, there may soon be a server, which will be fun for people who like standing in small spaces with a lot of other people.

What Is MineZ?

MineZ is much more than a minecraft server, it is a multi-server Minecraft MMO based on the Arma II DayZ mod – meaning that the main order of the day is killing and / or running away from zombies. When not being hunted by zombie hordes, MineZ players explore a post-apocalyptic world populated with cities, towns and other resources. This is technically a minecraft mod, but it is hosted entirely server-side, so anyone with an un-modded copy of vanilla Minecraft can join and play without having to download or install any files.

MineZ contains a whole lot of new game mechanics, including thirst. When you spawn, you do so with a piece of paper (which I later discovered functions as a bandage), a wooden sword, a full water bottle (refillable at water sources) and an eye of ender, used for chat and a few other things.

There are two main types of NPC, bandits (hostile) and healers (friendly). Players also tend to be hostile, as I discovered when I was ended by a leather clad chappy surrounded by zombies whilst I was trying to work out where I was. I suppose he has my eye of ender and my water bottle now. Unfortunately for him, I already used up my bandage by right clicking it by accident.

Are you ready to nostalgia hard with this Harvest Moon Minecraft Survival map? I sure hope so. I also hope you like farming, because there is a lot of it in this map. Survival farming is one of my favorite genres of minecraft survival maps, mostly because it makes a change from sitting in the middle of the sky generating cobblestone like some sort of modern Sisyphus.

It’s also a bit of an NPC trading survival map, because to get the resources you need, you’ll need to trade with the local NPCs. In many ways, this is a more realistic survival, akin to the survival mode we all play in real life every day. Let’s face it, you don’t have to mine stone to build your house every day (and even if you could, it probably wouldn’t be up to local codes and odds are that a nosy neighbor would register a complaint with the council and the HOA would complain that your grass letterbox is too untidy.) But you do have to toil most days in order to trade with other people for things that you need.

All games eventually become life simulators. Perhaps because we can’t get enough of life, because we can’t squeeze enough living out of the every day experience. Or perhaps because we all desire to be small gods. At any rate, this is a decent minecraft survival map. It also has pink trees, which I for one, approve of heartily. You can’t make a decent world without pink trees.

This minecraft survival map can be played with or without mods. Unlike many survival maps that treat mods like cheat machines, the Harvest Moon Minecraft survival map works well with several existing mods, including Farmcraftory, a minecraft mod that will add nineteen new growable fruits and vegetables to the game – making you one busy minecraft farmer.
