Spheric Ruins Complete The Monument Minecraft Multiplayer Map

I mostly play pure survival maps but occasionally I like to try something a little different. When that something different is the opportunity to crush my enemies using the power of blocks, well, that makes it all the sweeter.

The Spheric Ruins Complete The Monument Multiplayer Map consists of two lanes, making this a map for two or more players. Players must stay in their own lane. If the word ‘lane’ suggests a hemmed in experience, do not worry. Both lanes are large enough for teams of multiple players to roam in quite freely for quite a length of time without finding a single scrap of wool. Resources abound, though they have to be harvested and the terrain – though expansive and ever changing, is not always friendly. Monsters, sharp dips and rivers of lava all stand in your way, not to mention broken creeper ladders and more. What is nice about the lane system (and when I say nice, I of course mean, fiendishly clever) is the fact that the scope for offensive action is high. You’re provided with all the weaponry and creeper dust you’ll need to blow the other team away.

If you’re looking for something fast paced, survival based and incorporating mano e mano action, then Spheric Ruins is the map you’ll be wanting for your next multiplayer project.

How To Cheat Enchantments In The New INVedit Minecraft Enchanting System

INVedit is the lazy minecrafter’s godsensd – a program that allows you to edit your Minecraft inventory. It has been around for many Minecraft moons and it’s perfect for people who like to play survival games but still give themselves 64 diamonds every now and then for the fun of it.

The NEW INVedit has enchanting options. You can enchant items right in your Invedit window, which is amazing because enchanting in the game itself is a real pain in the rear. You can enchant all sorts of items including weapons and armor using INVedit, so that’s handy.

Here’s how to use the INVedit Minecraft Enchanting System:

  • Click on an item in your inventory.
  • Click the book icon right up there next to the grayed out X and choose your enchantment from the dropdown.

You’re done! Save the inventory to your game, being aware that it will overwrite your current inventory.

Lava Dome Survival Minecraft Map

What first drew me to the Lava Dome Survival map was the fact that the picture of the map (on the original post) had no lava in it at all. I thought it might be some kind of ironic hipster Minecraft map. It’s not. There really is a dome and there really is a lot of lava.

First of all I fell into lava. Second of all I fell into lava. Third of all I fell into lava. The game starts with a bit of parkour, which for me means significant death. Some people might be put off by having to fight their way across the map every time they play but those people probably aren’t cut out for Lava Dome survival. They’re probably cut out for Grandma’s Lounger Survival.

There are a bunch of structures to explore and I won’t ruin them for you by telling you what’s inside. You’ll have to build your own tenuous structure and make your way across to them in your own time. With adventure, danger and the immense need for restructuring, this is a survival map that will draw on all of your Minecraft skills.

How To Make A Minecraft Iron Golem

An iron golem is a protective mob that will naturally spawn in any village with more than 15 villagers. You can also make your own iron golems with three blocks of iron and a pumpkin. Place the iron blocks in a ‘T’ formation, just like making a scarecrow. Bring the iron golem to life by placing a pumpkin on top of the iron blocks where the head should go.

Fun Iron Golem Facts:

  • Slaying an iron golem will provide iron ingots and roses – because iron golems have a poetic side and love to pick roses.
  • Iron golems are hostile to most aggressive mobs, apart from creepers, slimes, ghasts and magma cubes.
  • Iron golems protect villagers by throwing hostiles high into the air.
  • You will need a diamond sword and fifteen clean hits to kill an iron golem.

Tree Survival Minecraft Map

Tree Survival is a high rise minecraft survival map where gravity is your greatest enemy. It comes with its own texture pack and signs that lie, so be careful about believing what you read.

The most interesting aspect of Tree Survival is the potentially transient nature of the ground. By that, I of course mean the tree leaves can and will disappear if you remove the wood that keeps them in place. This is worth keeping in mind before you hack out all the wood you can find to build yourself a house in the clouds.

Resources are not difficult to find. If you install the texture pack, resources like iron and diamond will appear to be part of the wood itself. If you don’t then you can see the stone quite clearly through the leaves.

The second major challenge is the multilevel aspect of the map. Because of the structure and layout of the tree, one finds oneself trying to work out how to descend without taking too much damage and ascend to escape danger and gather resources.

Up and down and round and round with diamond and sheeps and creepers and fire, making this map your own will be your greatest challenge.
